Meaghan Lamarre
Partner | Chief of Operations and Technology
Meaghan Lamarre has more than fifteen years of experience in digital communications strategy, tools and technology. She is our lead technologist – designing and building websites, training our clients on our tools and best practices in cybersecurity, and troubleshooting our clients' technical challenges.
Prior to joining Mandate Media, Meaghan was a Strategy Architect at EchoDitto, an internet communications firm founded by members of Howard Dean's internet team. Meaghan got her start in the world of online politics at the National Organization for Women, which brought her to DC, where she remains and provides East Coast coverage on training and tech support.
When away from her computer, Meaghan can be found running long distances, visiting breweries, and enjoying live music – sometimes all in the same day!
Craig Dorfman
Partner | Chief of Strategy and Development
Craig joined Mandate after stints as a high school teacher (English and Math), published author, carpenter, DEI facilitator, and project manager. He brings a little bit of each to his work, listening carefully and writing content that resonates and mobilizes audiences to action.
Craig is the author of the New York Times children's bestseller I Knew You Could and the music biography Brighter Day: A Jellyfish Story. Born and raised in New Jersey, Craig earned an English degree from Haverford College and a master's degree in education from Harvard University. Outside the office, Craig designs and builds furniture, takes long walks in nature with his family, and searches for the perfect pop song.
Callie Wine
Managing Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Callie Wine is an experienced digital strategist who's passionate about mobilizing voters for progressive candidates and causes. At Mandate, she focuses on building and implementing sustainable email strategies; and creating authentic, engaging, unique, and effective content for our clients.
Callie is always in search of ways to tire out her Aussie-mix puppy, a great documentary, sunshine, the perfect boba tea, and new SUP spots.
Devon Brown
Senior Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Devon Brown has been excited by campaigns ever since volunteering for Barack Obama as a high school student in advance of Utah's 2008 presidential primary. He has always been fascinated by the power of storytelling in politics, and he joins Mandate with more than eight years of experience in digital storytelling for progressive causes and Democratic campaigns. Whether they're running for Congress, Attorney General, Secretary of State, or Mayor, Devon loves discovering the unique voices of candidates – and blending creativity with hard data to achieve results from them.
In his free time, you can usually find Devon running, playing the guitar, trying to write a screenplay, or at a mid-sized concert venue in the D.C. area.
Mark Koehler
Senior Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Mark Koehler is an expert digital strategist and client executive from Chicago, IL, who got his start in politics in the 2018 cycle working for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Since then, he’s been working on campaigns of all sizes from mayoral and House races to gubernatorial and Senate races. Using authentic storytelling, creative targeting, and out-of-the-box ideas he’s raised millions to elect bold leaders like Gretchen Whitmer and Janet Mills.
When he’s not in the online world, you can find him trying every restaurant in Chicago, traveling the globe, and listening to music (definitely Beyoncé).
Isaiah Rodriguez
Senior Digital Strategist, Ads + Acquisitions
Isaiah Rodriguez is our chief digital advertising and acquisitions specialist from Houston, TX. Isaiah is driven to help progressive campaigns and movements grow their base of support online through credible, creative, and sharply-crafted digital outreach that brings new supporters into the fold via genuine digital storytelling. Isaiah's work runs the gamut of fundraising to persuasion, having managed campaigns for local, statewide, and federal-level races. His work with the Arizona Democratic Legislative Caucus in 2022 helped Democrats win 4 swing seats.
In his free time, you can find Isaiah in a cycling class biking up a storm to 2000s pop, singing his heart out at concerts and music festivals, taking a quiet rest day to visit local art museums, or soaking up the sun at the beach.
Jordan Hunt
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Jordan Hunt is a strategist with a background in fundraising and communications who's worked for some great progressive candidates and organizations, including Jessica Cisneros for Congress, AFL-CIO, Danica Roem for Virginia House of Delegates, and the Missouri Democratic Party, amongst others. She is thrilled to be joining Mandate Media to help raise money online for candidates and groups fighting the good fight!
Born and raised in the Midwest, she has a B.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and enjoys traveling, happy hours, and live music.
Alvin Gunnion
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Alvin is a digital strategist based in New York. His previous experience includes work for the Young Democrats of America, Congressman Jamaal Bowman, and Senator Ed Markey. A dedicated, deliberate writer, he loves the process of finding just the right words – to amplify a client's voice, to make a punch line punchier, or to express our highest ideals.
Outside of the office, Alvin spends his time biking, finding new music, sharpening his skills as a cook, and being disappointed by his various sports teams.
Lauren Mei Calora
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Lauren Mei Calora is a strategist based in Portland, Oregon. Lauren Mei jumped into the world of government and politics as an intern at the Department of State: Office of the Chief of Protocol where she helped plan and execute visits for foreign dignitaries with the United States. She is incredibly excited to be part of the Mandate Media team to support candidates aiming to help people.
Lauren Mei was born and raised in Oregon, secured her B.A. from Boston University, and spent her final semester of undergrad as an exchange student at the University of Copenhagen. In her free time Lauren Mei loves traveling, is an avid foodie, and accumulating random pop culture knowledge in her head.
Forrest Rilling
Senior Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Forrest Rilling is an experienced communications strategist with more than 6 cycles of on-the-ground campaign experience and 5 years on Capitol Hill. Forrest’s most recent experience was with Senator Andy Kim. He began his tenure with Senator Kim in 2018 as his communications director for his first Congressional campaign. Then, came back to work for Kim in 2021 as his official side communications director, where he oversaw Kim’s rise to stardom and launched Kim’s Senate campaign on 3 hours’ notice. During the campaign, Forrest worked on both official and campaign sides and was appointed deputy communications director in Kim’s Senate office.
At Mandate, he focuses on building and implementing excellent, sustainable strategies and creating content that is authentic to each individual client. In his free time, Forrest likes to golf, play and watch the beautiful game, and travel abroad with his spouse, Nat.
Robert Villanueva
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Robert Villanueva is a strategist based in San Antonio, Texas, with a background in political organizing and nonprofit leadership. Before joining Mandate Media, he led statewide programs supporting early-stage civic and social justice organizations, and has worked on campaigns at nearly every level – including efforts for Jessica Cisneros and Beto O’Rourke.
He’s passionate about combining authentic storytelling with thoughtful digital strategy to expand participation and build trust in the democratic process, and help elect leaders who come from – and fight for – the communities they serve.
Beyond politics, you’ll find him reading comics, exploring new music, or spending quality time with his wife and son.
Lily Haffner
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Lily Haffner is a strategist based in Washington, D.C. with a background in digital advocacy and communications. Her previous experience includes work at AARP and the National Democratic Training Committee, where she launched and managed social media accounts and crafted compelling email and long-form digital content. She's excited to join Mandate Media to help progressives raise money and connect authentically with their audiences.
Lily has a B.A. in Political Communication from George Washington University and is currently pursuing her M.P.S. in Political Management. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops, cooking with friends, and keeping up with pop culture news.
Riley Reynolds
Strategist, Campaigns + Advocacy
Riley A. Reynolds is a strategist and storyteller based in Virginia. Riley began her professional journey combining marketing, media, and political organizing, bringing creativity and precision to every project. She is thrilled to be part of the Mandate Media team, helping candidates craft messages that resonate with people and communities.
Riley A. was born and raised in Virginia and earned her B.A. and M.A. in English from the University of Virginia.
Riley is the author of three poetry collections (Of Dead Mothers and Best Boy Friends, The TwenTeens, and From the Notes App) and has conducted research exploring literature, storytelling, and cultural critique. In her free time, Riley A. enjoys writing poetry, exploring local restaurants, and watching history documentaries.
Kari Chisholm
Founder
Kari Chisholm is an experienced campaign staffer, media strategist, political consultant, and interactive web developer.
Since 2001, Kari has worked with over 300 campaigns in 32 states. He has served as a senior advisor on digital strategies for Members of Congress and US Senators, and has also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Chicago, teaching a graduate level course in digital media policy and politics at the Harris School of Public Policy.
Outside of politics, Kari has a national reputation as a leading expert on the voting procedures for college football's Heisman Trophy -- accurately predicting the winner twelve years in a row.
Kari graduated in political science from the University of Southern California in 1995. He is a member of the National Writers Union - UAW Local 1981/AFL-CIO. Kari lives in Portland, Oregon.
