Need attractive congressional district maps?

Over at NationalAtlas.gov, the Department of the Interior has made available to the public a series of very attractive, relatively detailed, congressional district maps. There are web-resolution images - plus 8.5 x 11 pdf print-quality editions.

Check it out.

And while you're there, I'm certain you can waste a couple of hours (I know I did) messing around with the dynamic mapmaker tool - allows you to zoom in and out, layer in lots of different kinds of data (from livestock to average wages to seismic hazards, etc.)

(Hat tip to Christine Cegelis for Congress whose website pointed the way. She's the candidate running against GOPer Henry Hyde in Illinois.)
